The Institute for Learning Sciences at La Salle is home to the International Performance Standards Certification Institute (IPSCI). IPSCI is a global organization that helps industries, companies, and professional schools to establish appropriate standards of performance. In partnership with its member organizations, IPSCI creates testing programs to ensure that employees or students have met established standards. IPSCI also provides and certifies training programs that meet its rigorous standards.

IPSCI offers three types of certification:

A standards certification confirms that an industry, a company, or a school has an effective set of performance standards in place.

A training certification verifies that a training program can effectively prepare employees or students to meet established standards.

An individual testing certification confirms that a student or employee has met the relevant IPSCI-certified standards.
