Your overview of our target market was quite helpful. I have a lot of practical ideas about how we can make Petopia the groomer of choice for busy professionals. I think we should consider using organic salon products and perhaps even look into selling some high-end pet supplies. I know of some manufacturers that make terrific products—I’ll start contacting them to see what their prices are like.
Tom recommended that we next take a look at the other groomers in Empire City. I’ve been in the business here for a long time and I’ve collected a fair amount of information about other grooming services. I gave Tom a list of our main competitors and he was able to send me information on last year’s annual sales for each business.
Now, I think we need to look at how well each business meets the needs of Empire City’s grooming customers. Hopefully, we’ll find that our target customers don’t yet have the perfect grooming business for them. We should also find ways to pull customers from their current groomers—by offering a more tailored product or by hitting upon a need not yet supported by the competition. I’m also attaching the summarized survey results. I started capturing this information in an Excel document, but I’m wondering if you might be able to finish it for me.
