The Details

Session 1 focuses on what environmental, social, and governance is, why businesses and individuals should care (why doing good is good for business), and how it relates to the Firm’s practice.

Learners focus on a real-world story of a company whose initial failure to attend to ESG led to near demise, and how it turned around by effectively addressing ESG weaknesses. Terms and concepts are explored through the lens of this company’s challenges.

Session 2 delves into what the firm and business unit are doing in the ESG space and highlights case studies to provide examples of how sub-business units are contributing. Helpful tips for initiating client conversations to explore ways the Firm can assist in ESG-related efforts are provided.
