The Design

To tease out details and specifics of their needs, Socratic Arts reviewed and analyzed focus group data and conducted site visits to garner first-hand data and information. Through client collaboration and iteration, Socratic Arts developed an initial conceptual design that was presented to global focus groups and revised per feedback.

The Details

Socratic Arts proposed a new design to influence behavior change, create authentic a-ha moments, and build competence, confidence, and pride in the brand, which could improve trainee retention. This design is a new, learner-led experience supported by a trainer. Key differences include:

• Training modules are bite-sized.
• Trainees choose learning modality. (E.g., videos, games, simulations, infographics, and other emerging technology).
• Trainees learn and practice in digital environments where it’s safe to fail, leading to increased confidence when they try in real life.
• A virtual guide offers continuity and encouragement.
• Basic modules use a "less is more" mindset so trainees find success quickly.
• Advanced modules encourage a continuous learning mindset and build a desire for career growth at client company.
