The Design

An on-demand, video-based course where learners engage in a series of authentic coaching conversations, using a mix of observe and critique and branching conversation activities, and reflect on how to create a coaching culture on their engagements.

The Details

Practice involves two analysis approaches across four coaching conversations: two observe & critique and two branching conversations.

In observe and critique scenarios, learners view coaching scenes and identify opportunities for improvement. They receive feedback by comparing their work to an expert’s analysis.

In branching conversations, a fictional team member poses an issue and question; learners select a response from a set of options representative of common approaches. Team member reacts accordingly.

In both activities, learners consult learning resources, including expert videos and coaching guidance documents to help them.
