Virtual ILT

The Client Need

"With the roll-out of new values to our organization, we saw a vital opportunity to align to the new culture we want to create and sustain while trying a new learning approach. Creating a program for 40,000 people worldwide is challenging and having to pivot to a virtual platform rather than an in-person experience added another layer of complexity to this program. We trusted Socratic Arts to get it done."

The Design

Eight virtual sessions where learners are immersed in a variety of activities and learning configurations (full group, teams, pairs, individuals) to learn about, discuss, practice, and commit to living the new firm values every day.

Audience: People Managers initially, then all employees worldwide
Skills in Focus: Leadership; communication; team building (DEI emphasis); using "we"-type thinking; decision-making
Features: Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT); Extensive Digital Program Workbook; Scenarios/Stories; games

The Details

An empowering tone is set for learners to celebrate and embrace the new values as they hear from organization leaders on how they live them.

Special attention is paid to creating space for small group discussion and connection given the virtual sessions and worldwide audience.

An eclectic mix of activities includes analyzing realistic scenarios, creating new consumer products, brainstorming mindset shifts, and playing games.

A highlight for learners is a game about breaking down silos played in team breakout rooms in which teams create a menu for a family member.

"This approach is very different than in the past, is being well-received and there is an opportunity to have this be the new norm." - Firm L&D Manager
