In partnerships with clients, Socratic Arts took home four 2023 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence awards.
Brandon Hall Excellence Awards recognize the best organizations that have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools that have achieved measurable results.

Gold Award for Best Advance in Leadership Development in partnership with global law firm Kirkland & Ellis. Kirkland’s Leadership & Management Training (LMT) suite of programs is a key strategic priority to enable associate attorneys to excel as leaders at Kirkland and Ellis. Programs reach a distributed, global population of 1400+ learners with a mix of remote and on-site participants.
Silver Award for Best Advance in Custom Content in partnership with McDonald’s for the Ready on Arrival Challenge - Leveling Up MOP (Mobile Order Pay). Mobile ordering has changed how we all order food, which means the jobs of those who prepare it have shifted – and fast. McDonald’s quickly embracing the change and teamed with us to develop this program to train and upskill thousands of employees worldwide to ensure excellent customer service and hot, fresh food for millions of customers every day.
Silver Award for Best Hybrid Learning Program partnership with Kirkland and Ellis. The Leadership & Management Training (LMT) suite of virtual instructor-led and digital on-demand programs empowered 1 st through 6 th year associate attorneys to excel as leaders at Kirkland and Ellis. The programs reach a distributed, global population of 1400+ learners with a mix of remote and on-site participants.
Bronze Award for Best Use of Games or Simulations in partnership with McDonald’s for Learning for the Ready on Arrival Challenge - Leveling Up MOP (Mobile Order Pay). This digital, on-demand game immerse learners in a fun game where they handle mobile app orders and deal with common customer questions and situations in an animated restaurant setting. It’s a busy day, so they have to balance efficiency with customer service, all while earning points on three metrics.

Socratic Arts took home four 2022 Brandon Hall HCM Excellence awards.
Brandon Hall Excellence Awards recognize the best organizations that have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools that have achieved measurable results.
Leadership and Team Conflict Transformation won a Gold in Leadership Development for Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Development Program. The course is a learn-by-doing, self-paced course that teaches the 7 Goals of Conflict-Calming Conversations through activities in which learners play the role of a manager who has to make decisions about common workplace disputes between diverse employees. It was developed in partnership with Tish Robinson, Ph.D., conflict transformation facilitator and professor at Hitotsubashi University of Business in Tokyo.
Three other programs developed in partnership with clients also won Brandon Hall HCM Excellence awards, but due to strict non-disclosure agreements, we cannot name the clients or programs.
Brandon Hall Award
Socratic Arts' Dynamic Scene Adapter™ (DSA) tool has won a 2021 Excellence in Technology Silver award from the Brandon Hall Group in the "Best Advance in ILT Management and Delivery" category.
A client's frustration with existing tools led to the development of the Dynamic Scene Adapter, which is a cloud-based simulation engine in which learners play a role in an immersive and compelling story. The experiential learning scenario unfolds realistically, turn by turn, with immediate coaching and feedback that enables participants to see the impact of their decisions through meaningful metrics. The DSA also enables a differentiated experience for learners, based on their decisions, actions, and performance in the simulation.

Leadership and Team Conflict Transformation
Socratic Arts, in partnership with Dr. Tish Robinson, renowned conflict transformation and professor at Hitotsubashi University of Business in Tokyo, Japan, are pleased to announce the availability of Leadership and Team Conflict Transformation. The online program is a self-paced course for managers who want to learn how to facilitate conversations between team members who are in conflict in a way that calms emotions, teases out underlying issues, and empowers them to find a mutually agreeable and sustainable solution.
While the skills and techniques taught are designed for workplace environments, they are equally useful at home, school, or anywhere else people end up in conflict. Which is, well, everywhere.

Socratic Arts partnered with VitalTalk to create Delivering Serious News, a course that helps medical clinicians improve their communications of serious news and related issues.
